June Pulliam

June Pulliam teaches horror, gender studies, and various writing courses at Louisiana State University, and in her "copious" spare time, she's pursuing a PhD in adolescent literature while attempting to bend space and time.  She is the co-author of Hooked on Horror: A Guide to Reading Interests in the Genre and Read On . . . Horror Fiction. She has enjoyed the horror genre ever since she was a little girl and was allowed to stay up by herself to watch Night of the Living Dead.  Later during her teen years, while her peers read bodice rippers, she read about Jack the Ripper.  She lives in Baton Rouge with her spouse, her daughter,  many cats, a deferential (when she's looking that is) dog, and Ruby, her pet chicken.
