Amy L. Montz is a high school English teacher by day and a voracious reader by night. Inspired by her love and long-standing fear of horror movies and novels, she often sleeps with the light on and stands guard against things that go whoosh in the night. Some of her favorite genre writers include Mary Shelley, Bram Stoker, Poppy Z. Brite and Neil Gaiman. She lives in uptown New Orleans where she hopes to finally be inspired enough to finish her novel.
