The Alien On-Line: The Alien On-Line is a site from the United Kingdom devoted to reviewing the latest in science fiction, fantasy, horror and graphic novels. Also included are columns by regular reviewers.

Dark Echo: This site incorporates all of the content of Dark Echo   OMNI Horror (1996-1998), originally produced professionally under editors Ellen Datlow and Pam Weintraub for OMNI Online, as well as most of the original Dark Echo 's Horror Web. Since October of 1998, Dark Echo 's writer/editor has been the literature editor for Universal Studios' Horror Online, so readers will find an extensive index of author features, book reviews, and essays produced monthly for that site.

Future Fire: Future Fire is an e-zine publishes original dark, speculative fantasy, as well as opinion, reviews, and criticism of the genre. Future Fire's theory of speculative fiction is derived from a quote from Neitche's Götzen-Dämmerung: it "ought to have a point, to make a comment on the imperfect world we live in, to involve an element of satire—which certainly does not necessarily mean comedy—anger, or revenge. We don't insist on utopia, as the quote may suggest, but we like a bit of relevance one way or another."

Literature of the Fantastic: This very simply designed site offers easy to find links to selected online horror and gothic texts that are in the public domain, so it is especially useful for finding 18th and 19th century titles online. In addition, Literature of the Fantastic has links to discussion lists, and links to various websites having to do with early Gothicism and horror.

Pretty-Scary: An irreverent zine for women in horror by women in horror, Pretty-Scary reviews movies and books, and features such as the Pretty-Scary Stud of the Month.

Queer Horror: Queer Horror includes impressive lists of horror fiction and film with GBLT themes or characters with brief description of each. The index page makes a particularly interesting claim about the longstanding affinity between the genre and all things GBLT.

Toxic Shock TV: Toxic Shock TV is an internet-based horror news and review site offering an eclectic blend of information for horror fans. Toxic Shock TV reviews both mainstream horror offerings and independent productions.

Twisted Fiction: Twisted Fiction is an online community of readers and writers dedicated to the Horror, Sci-Fi, and Fantasy genres. Post and read stories, get ideas to help market your fiction, and get genre news posted by members.

Whispers of Wickedness: Whispers of Wickedness's index page states that the site is devoted to dark atmospheric art and fiction. However, the site contains a bit more. Include here is horror poetry and reviews along with art and fiction.
