Dear Readers,

This is our final issue of Necropsy, in its presence incarnation at least. I’ve had fun editing this journal for the past five years, but other projects are demanding an increasingly greater share of my time, and I no longer have the energy to devote to publishing a quarterly zine.

Thus, I am passing along the baton to Tony Fonseca, currently our Editor in Chief, Head Librarian and Keeper of the Necronomicon. Necropsy will be on hiatus for approximately a year while Tony retools it as a publication that will be far wider in scope. The new Necropsy will be a peer reviewed journal, publishing scholarly essays on horror as well as original horror fiction, though it will also include book and film reviews. We'll be in touch when Necropsy commences publication in its new and improved form.

Best,

June Pulliam
