Tony Fonseca ![]()
Tony Fonseca has recently decided to trade his interests in El Dia de la Morte and daily communion with Saints in and around San Antonio, Texas for a return ticket to the Bayous of Louisiana, to pursue his interests in Le Loup Garou, Jean Lafitte's Treasure, and giant alligators. A teacher/librarian by trade, he first became interested in horror at an early age, when he was introduced to Godzilla (and didn't yet realize it was just an actor making a living in a rubber suit, which is scary in its own right) and Rod Serling's Twilight Zone (his all time favorite television show). He is the co-author of Hooked on Horror: A Guide to Reading Interests in the Genre and Read On . . . Horror Fiction. When he's not reading horror, he enjoys body building (not in the Mary Shelley sense) and women's basketball. He is still visited in his dreams by fire breathing prehistoric creatures, attack spiders, and faces at the window, though not as often.
