MEDIA ADVISORY: LSU Joins Atmospheric Research Consortium Signing Ceremony
BATON ROUGE – LSU has been accepted for membership to the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, or UCAR. LSU’s outstanding research in atmospheric sciences was a contributing factor in being selected for membership in this prestigious organization. Through UCAR, LSU’s capabilities in atmospheric and related sciences will be further expanded. Students and faculty will benefit from access to UCAR’s cutting-edge research, resources and workshops. UCAR, based in Boulder, Colo., is a nonprofit consortium of colleges and universities undertaking research and education in atmospheric and related sciences.
