WHAT: Intercollegiate Athletics Safety and Security Summit
WHEN: Jan. 27-29, 2015
WHERE: Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge
SPECIFICS: Intercollegiate Athletics officials from across the country will converge at LSU to share ideas and explore new methods for safety and security during this 2nd annual summit. The goal of the summit is to enhance current best practices by addressing major safety and security issues through input from athletic administrators, government officials, city/state/federal law enforcement, city planners, emergency managers, first responders, health services, and fire/HazMat services. The event, to be held at the LSU Cook Hotel and Conference Center, began at 8 a.m. on Jan. 27 and concludes at noon on Jan. 29.
