LSU Theatre Assistant Professor Joshua Overbay to Screen film “As It Is in Heaven” at Manship Theatre Feb. 5

BATON ROUGE – The Manship Theatre, located on the ground floor of the Shaw Center for the Arts at 100 Lafayette St. in downtown Baton Rouge, will host a screening of the film “As It Is in Heaven,” directed by LSU Theatre Assistant Professor of Television and Film Joshua Overbay, on Thursday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m.

 

The critically acclaimed film has played around the country at several Film Festivals this year and has been mentioned by many critics as one of the top 20 films of 2014.

 

After the film, Overbay and his partner, producer and cinematographer, Isaac Pletcher, will host a discussion on the film.

 

In addition, “As It Is in Heaven” is being released on a larger scale via Gravitas Ventures on Feb. 3.  Streaming will be available via iTunes, Cox, Verizon and many other outlets.
