LSU Student Union Theater Presents 300 Years of Soul on Jan. 31

BATON ROUGE – The LSU Student Union Theater will host “300 Years of Soul: A Musical Exploration of the Greatest Artists in Rhythm & Blues” on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 7:30 p.m.


A group of six vocalists will perform songs from legendary artists including Aretha Franklin, James Brown and Billie Holiday. “300 Years of Soul” celebrates these artists and African-American culture through jazz, rhythm and blues.


Student tickets are $10 with an LSU student ID card, and tickets for the general public begin at $35. Tickets for the performance are available at the theater box office or online at www.choicesecure03.net/mainapp/eventschedule.aspx?clientid=Lsu&prod=UTP.
