BATON ROUGE – LSU will hold its annual MLK Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 19, at Boys Hope Girls Hope, located at 3040 Government St., and at the Salvation Army, located at 7361 Airline Hwy. Media seeking photo ops or interviews are welcome at the Boys Hope Girls Hope location from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Approximately 200 registered volunteers from LSU’s students, faculty, staff and administrators, as well as volunteers from Shell Company, Sherwin Williams, Bookstoop and numerous other community partners will participate in the revitalization of the two sites.
