SEI, along with the Louisiana Business and Technology Center Student Incubator and Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization at LSU, will host the Annual 90-second Student Pitch Competition Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 6:15 – 7:15 p.m. in room 1420 of the LSU Business Education Complex. The competition is open to all LSU students who are interested in pitching a business idea. The top three winners will be awarded prizes. SEI Interim Director and LSU Executive Education Director Robin Kistler said, “We are excited to once again be involved in BREW and are looking forward to all of the week’s events. The student pitch competition grows every year, and with coaching from the LSU Student Incubator our students will be more prepared than ever to impress the judges.”

On Friday, Nov. 21, LSU Executive Education will host an entrepreneurship focused Breakfast to Business event, featuring local entrepreneurs Monique Breaux of POSH Exclusive Interiors, William McGehee of Tin Roof Brewing Co., Caryn Roland of Heirloom Cuisine, and Kolby Tullier of Body Mechanics Training. The breakfast will be held in room 1420 of the LSU Business Education Complex from 7:30 – 9 a.m. Seating is limited, and prior registration is encouraged. Registration is $25 per person and can be found online at executive.lsu.edu.

“We enjoy the opportunity to engage local entrepreneurs and encourage them to share their secrets to success with the business community during our BREW Breakfast to Business event each year,” Kistler said. “Our panel this year represents diverse industries and will bring unique insight into the entrepreneurial journey.”
