BATON ROUGE – Students of the LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business will have the opportunity to take part in several activities as part of Jumping into Business, which will be held Sept. 16-18, at the Business Education Complex. Alpha Kappa Psi and Pi Sigma Epsilon, in conjunction with the Business College Council, will host the event.

In addition to a two-day student organization fair, during which students will have the opportunity to learn about and join the college’s various student organizations, students will also be treated to free snowballs from Kona Ice and free coffee and donuts. Other featured events will be the Dean’s Advisory Council Panel Discussion, which will be followed by a reception that will serve as the culmination of Jumping into Business and the Rapid Résumé Review, an activity that will see recruiters critique students’ résumés in a “speed-dating” type setting.

Student organizations participating in Jumping into Business will vie for the title of Student Organization of the Year. Organizations will earn points throughout the three days for member participation and through a food drive that will benefit the LSU Food Pantry. The food drive will take place over the course of the three-day event.
