BATON ROUGE – Linda Bonnin has been named LSU’s vice president for strategic communications,
pending approval by the LSU Board of Supervisors. She will report directly to LSU
President and Chancellor F. King Alexander.
Bonnin comes to LSU from the University of Memphis, where she has worked since 1997.
She was named vice president for communications, public relations and marketing at
the University of Memphis in 2012 after serving as its associate vice president for

In addition to her higher education background, Bonnin also has experience in the
private sector, government and media. She has won numerous awards from professional
associations for her work in advertising, video, publications and marketing.

expand LSU’s influence and communicate its many successes.”
A Memphis native, Bonnin is a graduate of Harding University.
