The Flores MBA Association will host its 14th Annual MBAA Charity Golf Tournament
Friday, March 28, beginning at 1 p.m. This year’s event will be held at the Santa
Maria Golf Course, located at 18460 Santa Maria Parkway. All proceeds from the tournament
will benefit the Flores MBAA’s new internship program to help not-for-profit organizations
fund internship positions for LSU Flores MBA students.
According to Flores MBAA Special Events Chair Kim Vivian, the new internship program
provides students with great opportunities to meet members of the Baton Rouge community
and opportunities for students to expand their business acumen in a meaningful way.
“One of our Flores MBA students will be hosted by Provident Resources Group, a non-profit
organization that provides funding for community projects, during the summer of 2014,”

The LSU Flores MBA Association is a graduate-level student organization designed to enhance the MBA experience. Since its inception, the MBAA has served as an effective conduit between students, the community and business leaders from around the globe.
