BATON ROUGE – On Wednesday, Nov. 20, the LSU Office of Multicultural Affairs’ LGBTQ Project and Safe Space Campaign will host Geaux Red, an event to promote HIV/AIDS education and prevention. The Office of Multicultural Affairs’ LGBTQ Project & Safe Space Campaign works to make LSU a safer space for all students, faculty and staff regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. The project emphasizes providing educational opportunities, ongoing professional development, and programming for students, staff, faculty and administration about the unique challenges that LGBTQ individuals and their allies often encounter.
