BATON ROUGE – The LSU Chamber Singers’ free concert scheduled for Wednesday, April 23, will be held at 5:30 p.m. at University United Methodist Church, located on Dalrymple Drive. Previous announcements and calendar postings stated the concert would be held today at 7:30 p.m. at St. Alban's Chapel, but the venue and time have officially been changed.
The public is invited to enjoy an evening that includes performances of pieces written by composers such as Handel, Scriven, Fauré, James Mulholland and Moses Hogan, led by five LSU choral conducting students.
The LSU Chamber Singers are led by John Dickson, who is completing his first year as director of choral studies and conductor of the internationally acclaimed A Cappella Choir.
Members of the media are asked to please amend their online event calendars to reflect the venue change for this event, if possible.
