BATON ROUGE – Lisa Mathiak, an alumna of the LSU Center for Internal Auditing program
and a senior auditor at Ernst & Young LLP, was recently featured in the Atlanta Business
Chronicle article “Mathiak Brings Youthful Vibe to IIA Chapter.”
In the article, Mathiak credits her career at Ernst & Young with her time in the internal
audit program as well as her anthropology degree from LSU.
“I think I draw from it more than I realize, as far as understanding people and management
and communications.” Mathiak is quoted as saying. “I think it plays in and helps me
to understand people.”
The article also profiles Mathiak’s involvement with the Institute of Internal Auditors,
a professional association for internal auditors.
In addition to her work with the IIA, Mathiak also serves as a United Way Ambassador
for Ernst & Young.
The article, which was published Feb. 8, can be read in full at http://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/print-edition/2013/02/08/mathiak-brings-youthful-vibe-to-iia.html.
