BATON ROUGE – The Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute will welcome back honorees
of the LSU 100: Fastest Growing Tiger Businesses to the LSU campus on Nov. 12, for
the kickoff of Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week, or BREW.
The event, “A Conversation with Honorees of the LSU 100,” will be held in the auditorium
of the Business Education Complex with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and the event beginning
at 6 p.m. A reception with light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will follow.
A panel of LSU 100 honorees will facilitate an open discussion on entrepreneurship.
Panel members include Brandon Landry of Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar, Shawn Usher of
Sparkhound, Brian Rodriguez of Gatorworks, and Will Boudreaux of Netchex.
“It is very fitting that our LSU 100 honorees will be kicking off BREW this year,”
said SEI Associate Director Jarett Rodriguez. “All of them have spearheaded successful
businesses and the opportunity to get them together with the Baton Rouge entrepreneurial
community is sure to be a fun evening.”
The event is free and open to the public. Space is limited and registration is strongly
recommended. Registration can be found on the BREW 2012 website, celebratebrew.com. BREW is a week-long event, Nov. 11-17, celebrating entrepreneurship in the city
of Baton Rouge.
