BATON ROUGE – The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Barnes & Noble at LSU, originally
scheduled for Nov. 2, has been postponed. Barnes & Noble officials were unable to
travel to Baton Rouge due to Hurricane Sandy, so the ribbon-cutting ceremony will
be rescheduled. The rescheduled date will be announced in the near future.
Grand opening events will still take place at the bookstore through the weekend, and
Friday, Nov. 2
8 a.m. – 10 a.m.
Free tall coffee in the Café
1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Storytime & Signing – Authors Amanda Morgan & Jessica McDaniel
Amanda Morgan and Jessica McDaniel will be signing copies of their children’s book, “Goodnight Tigers,” an LSU-themed version of “Goodnight Moon.”
