Museu Moli Paperer de Capellades is an 18th century active paper mill and museum located just outside of Barcelona. From its beginnings, it has been both a museum and a working paper mill. The museum is unusual, not only in its dual role, but also for the fact that it produces 80 percent of its running costs. The museum is housed in an 18th century paper mill, while the building itself occupies 2,200 square meters and includes four floors and a cellar. A recent remodel has provided the museum with the infrastructure and services to be a cultural center for paper on the international stage. For more information, visit http://mmp-capellades.net.
