Manship digital advertising students win seven 2016 AAF Baton Rouge Student Awards

Manship digital advertising students received seven 2016 American Advertising Federation of Baton Rouge Student Awards, including two Gold and five Silver awards. The American Advertising Awards, formerly the ADDYs, recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising at local, regional, and national levels.

 

Samantha Ramey won two Gold awards for illustration and integrated advertising campaign for the campaign “Wake Up & Round Out” for Waffle House. Ramey will move on to the District 7 competition, which will be held in Johnson City, Tenn. from April 7-10.

 

Students Hye Jung, Sean Averette, Ashley Estave, Madeline Engler, Charles Champagne, Will Bove, Amanda Winters and Taylor Kirkes won Silver awards. Hye Jung won a Silver award for still photography for her photograph titled Blue. Madeline Engler won a Silver award for still photography for her photo Sunset Gypsy. Ashley Estave won a Silver award for out-of-home – poster for her Bliss Promotion Poster. Sean Averette won a Silver award for film, video & sound – cinematography for his film Quiet Desperation (A Movie Trailer by Sean Averette). Charles Champagne, Will Bove, Amanda Winters and Taylor Kirkes won a Silver award for collateral material – book design for a plans book for Community Coffee Campaign Fall 2015.

 

The AAF Student American Advertising Awards Competition is a unique national awards program designed especially for college students. The winning works entered at the local level can move up to the regional and national judging, just like the work entered by professionals across the country.
