What was your previous position and where?I was adjunct associate professor in the Department of Chemistry and of neurological surgery at the University of California, Davis.What brought you to LSU?I had an offer to come to LSU’s Department of Chemistry as associate professor.What is your research interest?I am very interested in organic and biological chemistry.What do you hope to accomplish at LSU?I hope to continue to be successful in bringing research funds, in teaching and in recruiting excellent students.What do you enjoy most about LSU?The diversity of students and faculty.What are your major accomplishments?To have become a Charles Barré Distinguished Professor of Chemistry.
