What was your previous position and where?

Prior to coming to LSU, I was a professor of finance at the University of Alaska.

What brought you to LSU?

I came to LSU for a better research environment.

What is your research interest?

My research interests include locational and spatial aspects of data in general, and real estate in particular.

What do you hope to accomplish at LSU?

I hope to continue building my body of spatial research.

What do you enjoy most about LSU?

Good colleagues.

What are your major accomplishments?

My book, "Introduction to Spatial Econometrics," now has almost 700 citations and the Peking University Press will release the Chinese version this summer.
