What was your previous position and where?Before coming to LSU, I was an art director at a start-up ad agency in Austin, Texas.What brought you to LSU?I came to LSU because I wanted to bring my professional experience in the communication field into the classroom. Teaching was always a goal of mine so when an opportunity to teach here at LSU, my alma mater, I couldn't resist.What is your research interest?My job does not involve conducting research. However, I do find much of my colleagues research on new media incredibly interesting and invaluable to the field of communication.What do you hope to accomplish at LSU?As an teacher, I hope to continue educating students about producing effective and engaging communication, and help them achieve their goals. As a professional, I hope to improve our overall communication efforts about the incredible things that happen at LSU.What do you enjoy most about LSU?The people. From the faculty to the staff to the students, LSU has an great mix of highly engaged people who are all doing some amazing work.What are your major accomplishments?As a teacher, I think my major accomplishments are my students. Seeing them win awards for their work, and seeing them pursue their career goals gives me a huge sense of accomplishment. Watching students develop their skills and expand their minds over the years they are here at LSU never gets old. It's an incredible experience.
