What was your previous position and where?I was previously on the faculty at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo.What brought you to LSU?I came to LSU for opportunity to work with Ph.D. students and a Ph.D. program that is re-establishing itself as a top program.What is your research interest?My primary research interest is in the area of discretionary and non-discretionary (audit fees and segment reporting) disclosures, issues related to the statement of cash flows, and regulation and its effect on capital markets and financial analysts.What do you hope to accomplish at LSU?I want to make sure that our accounting students are prepared to enter the workforce so that they will be successful. I also want to have an impact on the Ph.D. students so that they can learn from my experiences and knowledge.What do you enjoy most about LSU?I enjoy all the love that LSU receives here in Baton Rouge and throughout Louisiana.What are your major accomplishments?My major accomplishments include winning two research awards last year from the college for publishing papers that promote my research, as well as the name of LSU, and also being selected as a service-learning scholar in 2010.Maintained by:
