What was your previous position and where?I joined LSU right after I finished my Ph.D. in finance at Boston College.What brought you to LSU?The strong team of researchers in the Department of Finance and collegiality of the department and business school. In addition, we have excellent student bodies from undergrad to the doctoral level. I feel this is the place where I can be productive both in research and in mentoring students.What is your research interest?My research is focused on interaction between firm characteristics, its financing and exit decision. I also study the role of institutional investors in the security market and how their trading affects share prices, corporate financing and restructuring decisions.What do you hope to accomplish at LSU?I hope I can achieve academic excellence, and my research can open new horizons for the academic and business communities. I also hope to inspire my students.What do you enjoy most about LSU?I enjoy being part of the LSU family, and I enjoy working with students and my colleagues. I enjoy seeing my students learning and growing professionally.What are your major accomplishments?With great support from the Department of Finance, I am able to impact my students' lives and drive original research in the field, and I have published several quality papers.
