LA-STEM Research Scholars perform significantly better academically than non-participating LSU STEM students and are recognized by faculty for their exceptional research abilities. They are also campus leaders, national award recipients, and peer mentors, who are passionate about using their gifts and abilities to serve others.

It truly takes a village to develop the next generation of STEM Leaders! Scholars receive mentoring from faculty, staff & peers.

Education

LA-STEM Research Scholars participate in a series of four courses designed to facilitate greater undergraduate success in the STEM areas.

Research

Scholars engage in undergraduate research at LSU, and are exposed to other research opportunities both nationwide and internationally.
