The Training Center is comprised of 25 state-of-the-art workstations. Each workstation is a Pentium 3 PC with 512MB RAM, and is loaded with the Microsoft Office Suite, Lotus Notes, Adobe Photoshop , and Macromedia Studio MX Suite, along with Internet browsers and specialized software required for our training workshops. All workstations can be dual booted into either Windows XP or Red Hat Linux for workshops.

The use of the Training Center is reserved for LSU instructional purposes. The Training Center is operated by ITS for the purpose of internal training workshops and faculty/staff/student training workshops.

Campus departments may request to use the Training Center for IT training purposes only. Since we receive many requests for the use of the Training Center, these are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. To request the use of the classroom, please click here.
