As a result of new release of the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) database, the I-20 Certificate of Eligibility will have a new look. Any I-20s produced after the June 26, 2015, release and upgrade will be in the newly designed format.
Students are not required to receive the new version of the I-20 immediately since the current/older version of the I-20 will continue to be accepted by all U.S. government agencies through next year.
