    LSU Study Abroad Ambassador:  is a domestic student who fills one of four job positions associated with the LSU Study Abroad Scholarship program.

     

    Domestic student:  is a student, either undergraduate student or graduate student, who is a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.

     

    picoInternational student:  is a non-domestic student who has been directly admitted to an LSU degree-seeking program or has been admitted to the LSU Global program.

     

    Roommate:  is a job position held by a domestic student as part of the LSU Study Abroad Scholarship program.  The domestic student shares a residence hall room with an international student for one semester.

    Conversation Partner:  is a job position held by a domestic student as part of the LSU Study Abroad Scholarship program.  The domestic student meets weekly with an international student to engage in informal conversations on a variety of topics.

    Learning Partner:  is a job position held by a domestic student as part of the LSU Study Abroad Scholarship program.  The domestic student provides peer-to-peer support for a group of international students.

    International events:  are events for the purpose of showcasing international culture to domestic students or for the purpose of  showcasing domestic culture to international students.

     LSU study abroad programs:  are study abroad programs that are managed by the office of Academic Programs Abroad (APA), International Programs.

     

    Underrepresented domestic students:  are students, both undergraduate and graduate students, who are historically underrepresented in study abroad programs.
