Dr. Matson on Team That Receives Autism Grant

Dr. Johnny Matson, Professor of Psychology, is a member of a research team that recently received a grant from the Organization of Autism Research.  Dr. Matson’s collaborators include Juhi Kaboski (Notre Dame), Julie Lounds Taylor (Vanderbilt), Ke-Hai Yuan (Notre Dame) and Megan Cain (Notre Dame).  The grant proposal, entitled “Comorbidities in ASD: Developmental Trajectories and Predictors of Adult Outcomes,” was one of only 7 funded from a total of 133 applications.  The research will utilize three large longitudinal data sets to examine the relationship of comorbid disorders to outcomes in ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) across development, with the goal of providing evidence-based treatments for this population.  For more information about this project, please email Dr. Matson.
