Madden Named LSU Discover Scholar Awardee

MaddenPsychology senior and Honors student Anna Madden received a 2018 LSU Discover Scholar Award. This award is given to only ten undergraduate students across the entire LSU campus who conduct outstanding research or creative endeavors within their fields. Ms. Madden is completing her Honor's Thesis under the mentorship of Dr. Steven Greening. Ms. Madden has three years of research experience at LSU, and will be presenting her Honor's Thesis titled, "The Effect of Attention Bias Modification on Emotion Dysregulation," at LSU Discover Day as well as the Society for Affective Science national conference that will be help in Los Angeles, CA later this Spring. Ms. Madden was awarded a $1,500 travel stipend to be used for travel to educational workshops or facilities.
