Bridges to Baccalaureate Student Wins Diversity Scholar Award

The Department of Psychology awarded one Diversity Scholar Award to Dwayne Hinton who presented his research project at the LSU Undergraduate Research Conference that was held on October 14, 2016. Dwayne is a BRCC student participating in the Bridges to the Baccalaureate program and presented a poster based on his work with Dr. Megan Papesh on “What the Eyes Know About Memory”. The $250 award is designed to support undergraduate researchers who are considering attending graduate school in Psychology. The department is very pleased to support Dwayne’s outstanding research and wishes him the best of luck with his future educational and career endeavors.
