    University Recreation

LSU Faculty/Staff can enjoy the convenience of state of the art equipment combined with an on campus location by joining the University Recreation Center. LSU UREC is a true amenity to Faculty/Staff as membership offers the benefits of the most equipped health club in town. Faculty/Staff can purchase their UREC membership by visiting UREC Guest Services located in the Student Recreation Complex and presenting their LSU ID or by calling 225-578-8601. Current rates can be found on the UREC website, www.lsu.edu/urec.

LSU University Recreation Center's PLUS1 membership allows a UREC faculty/staff member to extend their membership rate to one person of their choosing. This guest/member does not need to be LSU affiliated beyond their sponsor. The sponsoring LSU faculty/staff member must hold a valid UREC membership.

LSU University Recreation offers the Tiger's DEN Summer Camp, a program structured to emphasize development, education and nurturing of children. This recreationally based camp is for children ages 6-12. Camp begins the week of Memorial Day. Each session involves a unique theme and helps to promote healthy lifestyles among school age children in hopes that they will continue to grow and stay active. Lunch and snacks are provided. For more information, please call 225-578-3695 or visit the UREC website at www.lsu.edu/urec. While Tiger's Den is open to the Greater Baton Rouge community, LSU Faculty/Staff/Student dependents receive discounted rates and a priority registration period. Sessions often fill to capacity and fees must be paid in full at the time of registration; however, LSU Faculty/Staff can use payroll deduction as a means of payment.
