Louisiana is one of those unique areas in the country where its cultural gumbo embraces diversity and individuality. On the campus of LSU, you will find students from every state in the U.S. who choose to learn and live at a university that welcomes people from all walks of life. Justin loves Louisiana culture and food. He gets excited everytime crawfish season rolls around. His favorite experience while at LSU has been a student trip through the National Society of Collegiate Scholars to South Africa to study international politics.

Charlena enjoys her professors at LSU because they take time to listen to the opinions of their students. Cherlena made new friends through her classes, study groups, and the many social events sponsored by the LSU Union Program Council. She plans to pursue a law degree after she graduates and firmly believes LSU is preparing her to accomplish her future goals.

Katie loves everything about LSU, especially the school spirit. She encourages new students to get involved in extracurricular organizations so they can meet new people. She enjoys the experience of living on campus and recommends that other students participate in a residential college.

Plus, I get feedback from professionals on everything I do so I learn what works and why." Bethany's favorite thing about LSU is tailgating with her friends before an LSU football game.
