LSU Residential Colleges
Across the nation, leaders in business and government have come to recognize
that economic strength is driven by higher education. Two years ago, LSU
provided students an opportunity to learn beyond the classroom in Residential
Colleges. LSU's Residential Colleges are living/learning communities
designed to provoke new and interesting ways to enhance the college experience.
By living with their peers, students participating in a Residential College
are able to foster learning environments both inside and outside the classroom.
The skills learned in the Residential Colleges provide students the opportunity
to advance in the fast-paced economy of the future. Currently LSU offers
four Residential Colleges: Herget Residential College, Laville Honors
House, Graham I.T. Residential College, and the French Learning Community.
