Bridging Cultures
The best place to learn Chinese, study the poetry of Ghana, or analyze
the architecture of Mexico is where these cultures thrive. And through
LSU’s Academic Programs Abroad, hundreds of students take advantage
of these exceptional opportunities every year. Spending anywhere from
one month to a year in a foreign country, they become immersed in another
culture as they develop language skills and new friendships. Students
can study in practically every corner of the globe through the International
Student Exchange Program, and LSU is continuing to develop and expand
summer programs in Latin America, Africa, China, Russia, Ireland, and
Germany.
