Geaux Forward "Day in the Life"

The Geaux Forward Team interviewed you about your Student administration software requirements last fall.  Now we want to expand our discussion beyond the software and evaluate how the software will fit into your job.  We want to make certain that the new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Student Administration System works for you. To do this, we need to understand your jobs. As we plan for the changes resulting in the move from the legacy systems at each campus to a new LSU ERP Student Administration System, we want to find out about your interactions with:

  • Student administration software
  • Student business processes
  • How often you do these activities
  • How your work affects the work of others on campus

We invite you to join us for a conversation to cover those questions and document security-based role needs in a new ERP Student Administration System, so we can ensure that you will be able to accomplish the student administration tasks that are part of your job in the future.

Our pilot sessions will be held June 13 and 14 at LSU A&M. Additional sessions are being planned at Alexandria, Eunice and Shreveport. The pilot sessions will include Associate & Assistant Deans, Departmental Coordinators and College Counselors. We will be scheduling Graduate and International sessions in the coming weeks. Please let us know if there are other campus roles that you would like to see included in future sessions. All LSU A&M pilot sessions will be held in Frey 103, and will be limited to the first 10 registrants per session. The notes from all sessions will be available on the Geaux Forward website, so individuals who are not able to attend a session can contribute to the continuing conversations with written comments.
