Geaux Forward Bulletin, Issue 7

Issue 7: September 29, 2017

Current Work & Accomplishments

  • Thirty-four informational and requirements gathering sessions have been scheduled and will be ongoing through the months of September and October. Over the week of September 25, the Project Team met with the Law School, Humanities and Social Sciences counselors, University College, Student Health Center, Athletics, and Human Sciences and Education Student Services.
  • A reminder that a short 30 minute demo video of Workday Student is generally available. In addition, Brown Bag Lunch and Learns have been scheduled to provide an opportunity to watch a more detailed overview. The extended video is 3 hours long and has been split into two 1½ hour portions. The first half of the video will be shown on October 2 and 9 and part two will be shown on October 3 and 10. If you’d like to watch the video, please RSVP at the Geaux Forward website. If none of these dates work for you, let us know so we can look at scheduling more of these sessions.
  • The Project Team also continues to prepare for campus demonstrations of LSU-specific scenarios. The team met with Workday this week to review the LSU scenarios and validate that the configuration is in place for these presentations.
