The Tony’s Seafood Scholarship
The Department of Food Science at Louisiana State University
announces the Tony’s Seafood Scholarships. The scholarship will be
awarded to the deserving recipient who has demonstrated both excellent academic
performance AND outstanding interest and involvement in food science-related
activities.
Eligibility:
Must be a
full time undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Food Science and
Technology
Criteria for
Consideration:
A minimum GPA of 3.0 (overall LSU coursework)
Activity in the Food Science Club
Activity in the Food Science Department
Additional food science related activities
(internships/jobs, volunteerism, etc.)

A cover letter describing interest and
qualifications
Copy of current transcript, or, list of LSU
courses completed and grades awarded and current GPA
List and description of food science related
activities
