Current Research Interests
My research interests have been focused on food engineering aspects with emphasis on (1) extraction and purification of fish oil, (2) microencapsulation of fish oil and food ingredients, (3) rheological and functional properties of functional ingredients and foods.

I am currently the treasurer in Food Science Club in Department of Food Science, Louisiana State University.

Louisiana Gulf Coast Section of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) Scholarship sponsored by the Central Analytical Laboratory Co. for the paper “Developing a Microencapsulated Fish Oil Powder from Purified Red Salmon Oil (Oncorhynchus nerka)” presented at the 2008 IFT Annual Meeting, New Orland, LA.
