1) Conduct surveillance studies to characterize the prevalence, genotypes, and antimicrobial susceptibility profiles of foodborne pathogens (Campylobacter, Salmonella, and Staphylococcus) in various food products.
2) Characterize the interaction of Escherichia coli O157:H7 with growing plants.
