Work Experience:
Currently working as Graduate assistant at Louisiana State University, since  August 2006 
Conducted the labs of M. Sc. (Food Biotechnology) at Sardar Patel University, India, related to Basic Biochemistry, Food Microbiology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Industrial Microbiology, r-DNA technology, Nutritional Biotechnology, Microbial Biotechnology. Since July, 2004 to December 2005.

Research Experience:
Completed dissertation entitled “Studies on the Micropropagation of Stevia rebaudiana: A natural non-caloric sweetener”.

Research Interest
My major area of interest is Food safety especially, development of rapid detection techniques for food borne pathogens. Currently I am working on development of rapid serological detection technique for Vibrio vulnificus from oysters. Beside food safety I am also interested and worked in the other areas of food science like food product development and food chemistry.
