Attached you will find the September newsletter for the Louisiana State University AgCenter Food Science Associates (AFSA), which is an affiliate organization of the AgCenter Food Science Program. The purpose of the organization is to unite industry members, alumni and friends of the Food Science Department providing two way communication between the Associates and the Department. The department will provide you with the latest information on our research and extension activities through an annual meeting and newsletters.

We are pleased to announce that we have set the dates for our 6th Annual Louisiana Food Processor’s Conference, which will be held here on the LSU campus on March 17-18, 2010, so mark your calendars now! We are in the initial planning stages for the conference and would very much appreciate your input.
