Financial Aid at a Glance

Important Notes

File File the FAFSA early!  The FAFSA is available January 1 for the next academic year (summer/fall/spring). The academic year begins with the summer semester.  LSU begins processing FAFSAs in March or April.

The yellow boxes are steps you will complete and the purple boxes are the steps LSU will complete.  In some cases, additional steps may be required to complete the federal aid process.  Be sure to allow ample time for this process by filing the FAFSA early and submitting requested documents and/or information in a timely manner.

While on PAWS, you are given the option to view LSU's Lender Partner List.
