“Our worth in life will be thy worth, we pray to keep it true,

And may thy spirit live in us, forever LSU." - LSU Alma Mater

Ethics and Responsibility in a Globalized World

This project compiles research essays by students from Dr. Witherow’s Spring 2008 English 2000 classes, with a concentration on ethics and the choices we make as individuals, nationally, and internationally.

These students have researched current global issues and written reports and PowerPoints based on their findings. Issues include: Ethnocentrism and Religion, War, Global Warming and Ecology, Health, Terrorism, Immigration and Trade, and Education.

Our project fulfills the mission of LSU to “Use its extensive resources to solve economic, environmental, and social challenges.”

The views in these essays have been formed through our individual research and do not necessarily reflect the views of Louisiana State University or the English Department.
