If You Added This Class Late. . .

If you missed the first days of class because you added late or just didn't show up for some reason, chances are you've already missed quite a bit of material. We have lots to do during the semester, and get to work even on the first day.  I'm sorry, but I simply don't have time to sit you down and catch you up, and since all of the material we cover in this class is important to your understanding of the subject matter, you are responsible for the what you missed.  You'll have to do the following things if you don't want to be behind and confused all semester:

• read the syllabus and class policies, which are all posted on Moodle.
• explore our website and familiarize yourself with assignments we're already covering in class.  If you're in one of my literature classes, read the lecture notes I've posted for material covered thus far.
• catch up on the reading you've missed (check your syllabus for details)

If you do these things, you shouldn't be hopelessly lost.
