Sending an Attachment File

How to Submit an Attachment File Using PAWS

1. Compose an e-mail the way you normally would.

2. Scroll down to the area beneath the large box where you compose the body of your message. You'll see another box with the words "File Attachments" above it. Next to this is a button labeled "Browse." Click on the Browse button. Now another box entitled "File Upload" should appear. At the top of this box is a pull down menu (one of those little boxes with an arrow near the right). Click on that arrow to start the pull down menu.  You should see a list various locations in your computer where files might be stored (the C: drive, the desktop, you're A: drive, for example).  Click on the area where the file is located.  Once you see the file you want, click on it.  The file name should appear in the smaller box at the bottom of the "File Upload" box.  Now click on the button marked "Open."  This will attach the relevant file to your e-mail, as well as close down the "File Upload" box and return you to PAWS mail.

3. Now you're ready to send your message.  Click on one of the "Submit" buttons, located at both the top and bottom of the message. Either button will do the trick.

4. Now your file has been sent.  Wait a couple of hours and check your e-mail to make sure that you've received a confirmation message from me.  Remember, I'll be checking my mail frequently throughout the day to collect all of the exams. If you don't receive a confirmation message from me, send your document again. I'd rather you accidentally send something twice than not send it at all.
