I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science at Louisiana State University. My research interests lie at the intersection of environmental policy, comparative politics and American politics. My current research agenda examines the determinants of policy adoption, learning and diffusion; policy implementation and compliance and enforcement; and how institutional structure influences policy effectiveness. I am also currently a Research Assistant for the LSU Superfund Research Program, conducting empirical research on resiliency within communities that are at risk for environmental hazards, and developing outreach programs for communities located near Superfund sites.
