Freshman Orientation, Advising and Preregistration (FOAP)

Welcome to LSU! Experience LSU has created a new student orientation program to provide you with an opportunity to learn more about LSU, meet your fellow classmates, and schedule classes. But, first and foremost, it’s designed to help you learn about the resources available at LSU to help you succeed.

Both student and parent orientations are led by LSU Ambassadors who are trained to provide a successful orientation experience for our incoming students and parents.
